March 4, 2020 Tucson, AZ – American Advertising Federation Tucson (AAF Tucson) honored its 2020 ADDY Awards® competition winners at the Tucson Top 50 Awards on March 3, 2020 at Rail Yard Tucson. The Tucson Top 50 honors advertising creative work produced in Southern Arizona in 2019. Fifty professional ADDY Awards were handed out along with 5 student ADDY Awards. Over 125 entries competed for the awards.

The professional Best of Show award in was presented to Sonder Agency for their integrated campaign for INDE Motorsports Ranch.

Student winners include: Cynthia Drumond: Vote 2020 Poster Campaign, Uber Space TV ad, and Arizona Choral Society logo; Issac Moreno: Wendy’s Billboard, and Madison McGarity: Snowboard Illustrations.

Professional winners include:

All winners of the local competition are eligible to compete in the second level of a three-tiered ADDY Awards competition, the AAF District 12 ADDY Awards which will be hosted in Albuquerque NM the weekend of April 3rd. AAF District 12 is comprised of AAF and Ad2 chapters in Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico and El Paso, Texas. District winners will be eligible for the ultimate competition, the AAF American Advertising Awards. National awards will be presented June 7th in Palm Springs during Admerica 2020, the American Advertising Federation’s National Conference.

The local ADDY Awards competition is conducted by AAF Tucson.  Proceeds from help support the Federation’s educational programs, public service projects and professional development.

AAF Tucson and Ad2 Tucson are comprised of over 200 local advertising and media professionals. Both clubs work to enhance the professional development of club members, while increasing recognition for the advertising industry and giving back to the local community.  They are local affiliates of the American Advertising Federation, a national organization that represents the advertising industry in its entirety.
