Winning entries submitted in the competition will be on display in our Creative Showcase Gallery for a celebration of advertising at the 2018 ADDY Awards gala event, "Viva Las ADDYS" on March 3, 2018, at the Casino Del Sol Resort. Be sure to submit TWO copies of each entry and one 4 x 6" printed copy of your company or school logo to be displayed with your work. 

Our local entry deadline was Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at 3:00 p.m.

Register each of your entries online. Then prepare your physical entries in the manner outlined in the Rules & Categories guide.  Be sure to deliver your completed entries before the deadline.  You must include a printed and signed copy of your manifest listing all entries showing entry fees have been paid

Since you must enter your local competition to be eligible for the District competition, it is important that you do not miss the deadline. 

ADDY committee volunteers will be available to receive delivery of entries from 9 am to 3 pm on the deadline date.

Entries cannot be accepted after the entry deadline.  

All work entered in the ADDY® competition must have first appeared in the media between January 1 and December 31, 2017.

With the exceptions of Public Service Advertising, Advertising for the Arts, and Advertising Industry Self Promotion categories, work entered must have been the result of paid creative services and media placement in the normal course of business (excluding student entries). Entries must be submitted in the CBSA, DMA or MSA of the entrant (as defined by Arbitron or Nielsen for your local market).


  • Member Single Entry, $80.00 each
  • Member Campaign Entry, $105.00 each
  • Non-Member Single Entry, $105.00 each
  • Non-Member Campaign Entry, $130.00 each
  • Student Entry, $45.00 each
  • Student Campaign Entry, $65.00

All entry fees should be paid online by credit card via the American Advertising Awards entry site.

Gold & Silver winning entries will be automatically forwarded to the District competition without an additional entry fee.

Gold & Silver District winners will be eligible to compete at the national level. Gold winners will be automatically forwarded and Silver winners will be notified by AAF of their eligibility to compete.
