AAF Tucson ADDY Awards® Winners to be honored March 3, 2018 / 02/06/2018 11:54 am

Love Me TucsonAmerican Advertising Federation Tucson (AAF Tucson) will honor our local market’s best in creative advertising on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the Casino Del Sol Resort during its themed celebration, Love Me Tucson.

Winners’ notifications and invitations are out for the event, which will showcase the area’s outstanding advertising creative work from 2017. The event begins at 6 pm with a cocktail reception and winners’ gallery displays, followed by dinner, presentation of awards, and an after-party until Midnight. Musical entertainment and dancing will kick-off and close out the evening.

Judges have chosen winners from 242 interactive, digital, broadcast and print entries submitted by local agencies, businesses and individuals from throughout Tucson and Southern Arizona, as well as AAF University and college students.

Reservation rates for the gala event are currently $85 for AAF members, $100 for non-members and $65 for Ad2 Tucson / Emeritus members and students. Reservations must be completed and paid for in advance online at

Event proceeds will fund local education and non-profit initiatives, including the Tucson Advertising Federation Educational Foundation and AAF Student internship program. A portion will also be donated directly to Ad 2 Tucson’s annual Public Service Project 2018 beneficiary, Integrative Touch for Kids (ITK)*.

The Tucson competition is sponsored by AAF Tucson and Ad2 Tucson, joint member trade associations comprised of local advertising, marketing, public relations, media and design professionals. Proceeds from the ADDY Awards help support educational programs, public service projects and proactive government relations efforts of both chapters.

*Integrative Touch for Kids was founded in 2005 to minimize suffering of children with serious illnesses and special needs undergoing hospital treatment. ITK’s integrative healing therapies reach 3,500 people each year, through various individual and group programs all free of charge. Therapies include massage and bodywork, reflexology, sound healing, energy, play, art and movement therapies. All are focused on improving the lives of the children and their entire families. The new ITK advertising campaign, developed by Ad 2 Tucson, will be debuted soon.

Allison is a positive and enthusiastic entertainment professional. She
graduated from The University of Arizona in 2015 as the Outstanding Senior
of the Film & Television Program. She was accepted into the NBCUniversal
Page Program in New York and worked on assignment with TODAY, The Rio
Olympics, and Focus Features. She has continued her career with
NBCUniversal in Digital Enterprises as a Strategic Integration Coordinator.
She recently became a Registered Yoga Teacher and spends most of her
free time consuming food-related content.

Ryan Jacobs is founder and CEO of RAD Development and Bentley Lane
Investments. He is passionate about making business better and has helped
hundreds of entrepreneurs and businesses disrupt industries, build
efficiency in operations, and transform the way they work. At the heart of
what he does is a desire to help others find the time to focus on doing the
things they love. He started his first business when he was 23, and along
the entrepreneurial journey, he developed a passion for technology,
efficiency, and making business easier. Ryan has been fortunate to meet
amazing people and absorb diverse perspectives in different industries and
businesses ranging from healthcare, construction, staffing, manufacturing
and technology. He was born and raised in Arizona, graduated from the
University of Arizona in 2011 and was the student director of the National
Student Advertising Competition Team (AdTEAM) with a degree in
marketing and currently reside in Scottsdale, Arizona with his wife and a
son on the way.

Lehi, Utah
Josh Souter is a creative director at Adobe where he leads 
content and web design for Adobe’s enterprise business.
He’s also an excellent liar. One of these things is a lie.
1. Josh once lived alone in a tent for four months on the banks of the Snake River.
2. His great-uncle invented television.
3. He’s created content for some of the world’s largest brands.
Samsung, Microsoft, GM, Adobe, Crocs, Travelocity, 
Nationwide Insurance, the Travelocity Gnome, etc.
4. He has four children. One of whom is named after a seedy bar in Star Wars.
And another who’s named for someone famous for almost chopping a baby in two.
5. Josh competed in American Ninja Warrior last year. With his six siblings.
