50-STATE PEDALER EXHIBITS BIKE-THEMED ART AT CYCLOVIA / 10/21/2014 3:36 pm

CycloviaCyclovia temporarily closes some Tucson streets to car traffic and opens them to other forms of transportation: bicycling, walking, running, skating, wheelchairs, and more. It's a free event that connects participants with neighborhoods, businesses, and their fellow Tucsonans.

In conjunction with Cyclovia, AdFed member Martha Retallick will be hosting a Back Porch Bike-tography Show. Her show will be at 415 East Seneca Street – that's just a dozen pedal strokes east of the Cyclovia route.

What is Bike-tography? It's the art of combining bicycling with photography. Retallick's Back Porch Bike-tography Show will include framed images and greeting cards that can be purchased, and a display of the bike frame from her rides through all 50 of the United States.

Care for bike travel stories? Retallick has plenty of them. Visitors are welcome to ask how she got kicked out of Jimmy Carter's place in Georgia – and how she landed in an Arkansas jail. She'll also be answering bike travel questions.
