Ad2 Tucson Accepting Applications from Nonprofits for Public Service Project / 09/28/2016 12:30 pm

Ad2 Tucson TaglineSeptember 27, 2016 – Ad2 Tucson is calling for applications from area nonprofit organizations for its 2015-2016 Public Service Campaign. One selected organization will receive pro bono marketing to support its outreach efforts. Applications are due by Friday October 7, 2016. 

Every year, talented Ad2 members participate in the Public Service Campaign, donating time and their varied professional marketing and advertising skills to produce a comprehensive marketing, public relations, and advertising campaign for the selected local nonprofit.

Make Way for Books has been making a positive impact on the Tucson community for over seventeen years. As a growing non-profit in a digital age, they need updates to various marketing materials to keep pace. Ad2 Tucson, with the generous support of Crown Chimp Productions refreshed their video presence, and provided valuable consultation surrounding app, social, and online marketing efforts. Working closely with the great team at Make Way for Books, Ad2 delivered a new :30 second TV spot, to run on local broadcast networks, and a brand new mission statement video.

Ad2 strives to serve the individual needs and goals of each organization. Previous campaigns have incorporated the use of television, radio, print, outdoor, and interactive advertising elements. Past recipients include: PACC Partners, Pima Council on Aging, JobPath, BICAS, Emerge! Center Against Domestic Abuse’s Angel Children’s Center, The Salvation Army ENCORE! Celebrity Fashion Show, Southern Arizona Network for Down Syndrome, and the Literacy Volunteers of Tucson.

The online application is available on the Ad2 Tucson Community page of the AAF Tucson website or by emailing ad2tucson@gmail.com. Completed applications must be emailed to ad2tucson@gmail.com no later than Friday October 7, 2016.

Ad2 Tucson, an affiliate of the American Advertising Federation, is a non-profit organization of advertising professionals age 32 and younger. Today, National Ad2 is over 1,000 members strong and boasts more than 25 clubs nationwide.
