ARIZONA DAILY STAR LAUNCHES ANNUAL READERS’ CHOICE AWARDS PROGRAM / 06/06/2018 9:07 am

Tucson, AZ, May 25, 2018 ? Now in its fourth year, the Arizona Daily Star’s Readers’ Choice Awards program has generated more than 430,000 community votes for Tucson businesses. The city-wide, reader-centered poll is powered by the Daily Star, Tucson.com and Tucson Digital Media and more than 500,000 weekly print and online readers. More than 14.,000 local firms have been nominated in over 300 business categories over the last three years.

The Winners and Favorites in this year’s voting will be announced Aug. 29 during a Readers’ Choice Awards Ceremony at the JW Marriott Starr Pass.  Last year’s awards event was a sell-out / standing-room only, with more than 700 local business professionals in attendance. It has quickly become the ‘go to’ business event of the summer, and in its second year is expected to again sell out. Advance ticket purchase is encouraged.

The 2018 Readers’ Choice program offers local businesses the opportunity to showcase their products and services and mobilize their loyal customers to voice their satisfaction through their votes. The Readers’ Choice program provides free marketing materials to local businesses, including point-of-purchase materials, as well as digital and social media assets. All are available by request at www.tucson.com/readerschoicemarketing.

  • July 15, 2018 – Readers’ Choice Ballot (deadline July 6, 2018) in the Arizona Daily Star and on Tucson.com
  • July 15 – July 22, 2018 – Readers’ Choice nominations at www.tucson.com/readerschoice
  • July 23 – August 1, 2018 – Readers’ Choice voting at www.tucson.com/readerschoice
  • August 29, 2018 – Awards Ceremony at the JW Marriott Starr Pass (tickets on sale now at www.tucson.com/readerschoicemarketing– $50 per seat through 8/18, $60 per seat 8/18 – 8/24.)
